Home based – delivering across the South East
Two days (14.8 hours) per week, term time only
£26,000 per annum pro-rata plus benefits

Our Training and Development Officer will be responsible for the development and delivery of training on the use of school grounds for biodiversity projects, sustainability projects, and other learning and play programmes.

As part of our exciting new climate change education initiative, we are looking for a Training and Development Officer to cover the South East of England, two days per week during term-time only. You will be working directly with teachers and other education staff supporting their journeys in taking curriculum learning and play outside and to utilise their school grounds. You will deliver Learning through Landscape’s training and projects within diverse communities across a significant geographical area.

You’ll need to have a passion for nature, have experience in training and advising educational staff in primary or secondary schools, been involved in delivering outdoor nature-based and curriculum linked learning activities and have good IT skills. Ideally, you’ll be based in the Ashford/Canterbury/Maidstone/Tunbridge Wells area as it is essential that you are able and willing to travel in the Southeast. There could be travel throughout the UK, including overnight stays.
