The Lead Teacher in Outdoor Learning Course, a partnership between Scottish Forestry and Learning through Landscapes, is aimed at teachers who would like to develop the outdoor learning culture in their school. The two-day course aims to equip practitioners with practical skills, knowledge and understanding to embed outdoor learning across their setting or whole school community.
Participants will:
Participants should come dressed for the weather as elements of the course will be outdoors. They should also bring a packed lunch.

The training event takes place on 13th-14th March 2024 from 9:00-16:00 each day.
The venue address is Cumbernauld Village Hall, The Wynd, Cumbernauld, G67 2ST.
This is one of two courses, fully funded by Scottish Forestry, being run in March and April 2024, each for up to 20 teachers based in Scotland. The April course will take place on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th April 2024 in Perth – see details here.
Please note the same content will be covered in both courses, so you only need to attend one course.
