Transforming school sites into community orchards.
Fruit-full Schools
The Fruit-full Schools programme supported 50 secondary and 150 primary schools in England to transform their school sites into traditional orchards.
The project was delivered to additional schools in Wales as Tyfu Orchards and in Scotland as The School Orchards Project.

How it works
Children, young people, and community volunteers were supported to research, design, plan, plant, and care for community orchards. The project was funded by the Big Lottery Local Food programme and delivered in partnership with a range of organisations across the UK, including Garden Organic and Common Ground.
