We are planning a celebration – and you’re invited!

Join us at one of our summer events to celebrate ten whole years of our Local School Nature Grants

Thanks to the generous ongoing support of the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery, we are hosting five fully-funded events for educators. These will take place in the venues listed below this summer. The events are free for up to two educators per setting to attend.

About the events

Each event will start around 9.30am, with attendees having the chance to participate in quality CPD training across a range of outdoor learning and play topics. There will be lunch and refreshments provided – an ideal chance to network with other educators passionate about outdoor learning.

Each event will finish around 3pm, with some local variation. Every attendee will leave with LtL resources – as well as renewed confidence – to take outdoor learning and play forward in their school.

These events are a chance to celebrate and reflect on a decade of Local School Nature Grants – awards that often kickstart schools’ and nurseries’ outdoor learning journeys through a combination of high-quality CPD training, equipment and resources.

As part of LSNG, we have so far awarded grants to over 4500 settings across Great Britain, delivering 14,000 hours of training and providing £2.5 million worth of equipment.

The events are open to any staff currently working directly with pupils in primary, secondary or special schools, or nurseries, in England, Wales or Scotland. You might have received a grant, but it’s not a requirement – you are welcome to come along and find out more.
