Content
The Early Years Maths Outdoors course structure covers the following:
- Looking at your use of outdoor space and resources to facilitate the learning and teaching of maths
- Considering how to provide a range of challenging educator and child led maths activities outdoors
- Exploring practical examples of activities that support children using and applying mathematics in context
- Taking time to co-plan your changes and strategy
This is a full day, practical course with elements of group work in the classroom, but a significant proportion is outdoors. This includes periods of activity and standing, and being outdoors in all weather for extended periods. Please come dressed for the weather and conditions.
A dated certificate of attendance will be provided to all attendees by email.
