Secondary Foundations Outdoors is a powerful and practical programme that supports learning across the curriculum, helping you make the most of your outdoor spaces while developing staff confidence and skills.

Our Fire Lighting and Outdoor Cooking training is one of our most popular courses, enabling educators to safely lead fire lighting and outdoor cooking experiences at schools or early years settings.

Done well, play can improve health and wellbeing, motivate pupils, and return them to formal teaching time ready to learn. That’s why investing in children’s play is one of the most important things we can do to support their development.

This course takes a focussed, whole school approach to raising attainment through the use of quality outdoor learning and play. We think this course is unique, based on clear evidence of impact, and blending play, outdoor learning, and sustainability themes.

Our Forest Kindergarten Leader Course, incorporating the Qualifications Scotland Forest Kindergarten Award, is designed to meet the needs of early years practitioners who wish to lead regular visits to local outdoor spaces for learning and play.

This two‑day in‑person course equips primary teachers to lead and embed outdoor learning across their school. Participants develop leadership skills, practical curriculum strategies, and the confidence to inspire colleagues, improving whole‑school wellbeing, engagement, and outdoor learning practice.
