The Art of the Garden programme offered schools the opportunity to create artwork in the grounds which had a spiritual theme.

How did it work?
Schools chosen for the programme received financial and volunteer support from Ernst & Young, two days of a local artist's time and a budget of £500.

Typical artworks included seating, totem poles, shelters, sculpture, murals, and mosaics.

Who was it for?
To qualify for the competition school projects needed to:
Have a spiritual theme
Be capable of being delivered within 2 days
Be located at a school within 10 miles of an Ernst & Young office and be able to support up to 10 volunteers.
